Welcome to our web page! We began showing and raising Finnish Spitz in 1987, our first two girls were imported from Canada, and a male followed shortly from the Kulta Kennel in California. We decided early on that we only wanted as many dogs as we could give adequate attention to. So we limit our dogs to five or six. We live on three acres in the woods on the outskrts of Gresham, Oregon. |

Finnish Spitz 20 years of breeding showing and owning quality Finnish Spitz! |
Each dog has a six by twelve run. During the day they have full run of the backyard. Our pups are raised in the kitchen and started in a crate before they go to their new homes. The pups we choose for ourselves are raised in the house for the first six months to a year. We feel it is important for our dogs to be pets first and always. Finnish spitz seem to bond better if raised in the home. |
I show my own dogs and get great satisfaction from it. I have finished TEN AKC Champions, seven of them of my own breeding. We are on our seventh generation of beautiful show quality Finnish spitz. Our family enjoys going to dog shows and our fifteen year old son is starting out this year with his own Finnish Spitz puppy Luna! |
